- A sheet of white paper (for the eyes) & Colored markers
- 1 paper cups (for tracing and decorations)
- Recycled cardboard (We used: 1 medium box, 1 shallow rectangular box, 3 small boxes)
Instructions
Step 1: Make the Feet
Take the shallow rectangular box and stand it upright — this will be the robot’s body.
Then, attach two small boxes lying flat to the bottom of the upright box using Screws, 90° connectors, and a screwdriver.
These flat boxes will act as the robot’s feet, giving it a sturdy base to stand on.
Step 2: Attach the Head
Place the medium box on top of the body to form the robot’s head.
Secure it with Screws and your screwdriver so it stays firmly in place.
Step 3: Build the Arms
Grab the third small box and cut it in half.
Attach one half to each side of the robot’s body — now your robot has arms!
Step 4: Make the Eyes
Take a paper cup and use the bottom to trace two circles onto a sheet of white paper.
Cut out the circles to create your robot’s eyes.
Then, attach them to the front of the head using Screws.
Step 5: Add Signal Receivers
Attach a paper cup to the top of the head to create an antenna-like receiver!
Step 6: Decorate Your Robot
Use colored markers to draw a mouth, buttons, or any fun patterns on your robot.
You can also use extra Screws and connectors as buttons or decorative features to give your robot even more personality!
Your cardboard robot is ready!
Give it a name, show it off, and imagine all the amazing adventures it will go on.
